Haikal is a Computer Scientist and the Founder and CEO/CTO of Vaticle, the team behind TypeDB & TypeQL. His work began in robotics with NASA JPL and the University of Cambridge, UK. He then found himself building optimization algorithms the core R&D team of Quintiq in the Netherlands. Today, Haikal and his team in London works on building TypeDB: a polymorphic database powered by types and native reasoning engine. TypeDB empowers engineers around the world build advanced database applications with elegant and type-theoretic language, TypeQL.
