Nothing resonates with me more than the above quote. When I think about the current realm of technology, spanning from space to wrist, it is hard not to feel excited about the way interactions have been redefined over and over since the age of tools. From my understanding of hieroglyphics to my everyday interaction with iconography, I sense a peculiar correlation in the methodology of encoding and perception that has remained the same. What we are today is much due to the experiences we've had in the past.

My journey into the field of design has been an organic evolution from a curious kid coloring the charts and making crafts, an impatient music practitioner, and a soul-searching photographer gracefully transitioning into the identity of a designer. I see this as a transition from creating something for personal delight to creating something for a certain objective owing to the realization of the invisible process that's all around us shaping the built environment and the experiences that we're in.

I see a strong parallel between the beauty of things designed around us and what makes me an advocate of being an autodidact. My interest lies in these technological transitions that shape interactions; investigating whether it has bridged, overlapped, or widened the gap between humans and the prevailing myriad interfaces. This quest of mine is not only to enhance design for technological advancement but also more importantly to foster greater social understanding. Frozen Iris; once started as a photography page, evolved into a design practice that allowed me to delve into various facets of design and to keep learning from it.

Today, Frozen Iris is a collective of design practitioners and aficionados dwelling and further exploring the uncharted territories of design, through intervention. The belief with which you start the journey defines the journey and Frozen Iris stands testimony to the same.
