Hazel Naal, LCSW, has managed early education and mental health programs for high-risk communities in Los Angeles County. She has taught preschool aged children, managed mental health programs for families surviving domestic violence, provided mental health services to head start children and their families and designed programs for early intervention. She holds a license in clinical social work and trains early education professionals on trauma informed practices. She currently works for the Los Angeles County Office of Education as a Delegate Liaison Team Leader where she conducts monitoring of Head Start and Early Head Start programs and provides technical assistance for quality improvement.
