Dr. Hervé Damas, MD, MBA, is a former Linebacker with the Buffalo Bills, strength and conditioning coach, wellness director and college professor. He’s received training in general surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY and Diagnostic
Radiology training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL. Dr. Damas also holds and MBA with a concentration in healthcare management. Dr. Damas is a cannabis medicine practitioner, advocate and researcher. Dr. Damas is founder and president of Grassroots Wellness, a cannabis based holistic medical treatment center in
Miami, fl. In addition he is principle investigator of a groundbreaking study examining the effect of CBD on quality of life in retired professional athletes. Dr. Damas is a
member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity, serves on the board of directors of Athletes for Care and the South Florida Chapter of UNCF. Dr. Damas also volunteers for the Little Haiti
Cultural Arts Center, the Trayvon Martin Foundation and NFL youth flag football.
