Hina Ovais is a Learning Designer at the University of British Columbia and a PhD student in Language and Literacy Education. With over 20 years of experience as a teacher, curriculum leader, and professional learning facilitator in Pakistan and Canada, she designs evidence-informed learning experiences that foster critical thinking and meaningful student engagement. Her work focuses on instructional design, educational technology, AI in education, immersive learning, and Visible Thinking Routines. She supports educators in translating research into practical classroom strategies that make student thinking visible and promote deeper learning.
