Hope Chang grew up in Korea, the first daughter of two pastors, and earned her BA in Sociology and Philosophy at Columbia University in New York City, where she first began to critically examine the contours of her family’s faith system. She is currently enrolled in the Masters of Divinity program at Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL, and her work focuses on decolonized theology and just reconciliation. Hope lives in Chicago with her partner, Kyle, and their dog, Lazarus.
