Mr. Howard James is a Senior Software Architect Consultant at Merita Technologies (by way of Jamaica via the USA). He has over 28 years of experience in the IT industry with the majority being in Software Development Engineering and Architecture. Mr. James is a licensed Microsoft Developer with many years developing on Windows Platform, as well as a seasoned developer in Linux.

Very early in his career, Mr. James undertook a telecom engineering project to create a video-conference booth for AT&T Latin America Division, which was launched in Mexico. The knowledge gained in telecom from successfully completing that project, featuring Touch-Screen and Smart-Card Technology (in the ‘90s), led to providing customized solutions for various telecom companies in India, Jamaica, Chile, Dominican Republic, Haiti, and the USA. This cemented him in his career path in technology, as an innovator and skilled IT Engineer.

He is now at the helm of Merita Technologies, steering its innovations, software development, training, and consulting.
