Dr. Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at University of California Davis Health System. As a gynecologic oncologist, she cares for women with ovarian, uterine, cervical, vaginal and vulvar cancer. Her practice ranges from radical surgeries to prescribing cancer-directed therapies to end of life care. For many of her patients, their life will be shortened by their cancer, but she strives to provide them with the best quality of life during that time. Her introduction to medicine was through observing her mother, a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner. Her research involves using integrative medicine to manage the symptoms of gynecologic cancer patients.
