Agile software development has been the only natural way to work for me ever since my early days as a software engineer in Silicon Valley, where I experienced it before the word “agile” was even used.

Now I teach, coach, and mentor others about Scrum and agile ways of working as well as speaking at conferences and local meetups. I enjoy sharing what I have learned throughout my career and also learning from others. On this path I have been fortunate to introduce many people, teams, and organisations around the world to agile working, including many globally recognised organisations.

It is important to me to serve my community. Whether it's providing pro bono training to people in a position of hardship, speaking at local meetups, voluntary work like co-chairing a Global Scrum Gathering, or serving in the Scrum Alliance’s Trainer Approval Community. I thrive on helping build joyful work places that put people first.
