Igor builds probabilistic programming and real-time inference systems in Elixir. His current project, eXMC, is an open-source PyMC-style framework running MCMC sampling on Nx/EXLA across 88 cores for live financial signal processing. Before Elixir, three decades of systems architecture across telecom, finance, and manufacturing — from ITMO (St. Petersburg) to Wayne State (Detroit) to production systems that had to work on Monday morning. He believes the best runtime for numerical computing was designed for telephone switches.
