Igor hails from the glorious country of Lithuania (famous for its beer and basketball). He used to don a wide variety of hats in IT industry: started as a QA automation engineer, stood his watch as an engineer, was a tech lead, a team lead, a software architect, and, lately, a principal engineer. He holds a bachelor's degree in Russian literature, and master's in Software engineering. Owns a tiny library. Contributes to a large amount of OSS projects, including fastify, is a lead maintainer of knex.js. Published a book of poetry in Russian.
