Dr. Ilan Kadar is the Co-Founder & CEO of Plurai, an AI infrastructure company building the real-world trust layer for production AI agents. Plurai helps teams turn agents from impressive demos into reliable, measurable, and controllable production systems through simulation-driven evaluation, real-time guardrails, synthetic data generation, and customized small language models.

Ilan holds a PhD in Machine Learning and Computer Vision and has spent more than a decade building and evaluating AI systems in high-stakes, real-world environments. Before founding Plurai, he held senior AI leadership roles, including VP of AI & Automotive at Nexar and Deep Learning Group Lead at Cortica. At Nexar, he collaborated with autonomous vehicle companies, including Waymo, on safety and evaluation of AV systems, where simulation, long-tail edge cases, and rigorous validation are mission-critical.

His work bridges academic research, production AI, and real-world deployment. Ilan has published and presented at top-tier AI and machine learning conferences.
