Ilan with 21+ years of IT experience worked in both software Services & Product industry. With enriched diversified experience, currently he is playing role of Principal Architect and heading Conversational User Interface (CUI) in EVRY India. He is CUI & Cloud specialist and his current areas of specialization includes: Alexa Skill building & architecting; building & architecting CUI applications (Intelligent Digital Assistant) by leveraging AWS Lex and other Cognitive service; Cloud architecture, design and implementation for SMB & Enterprise customers; architecting and building Digital Humans (Sumerian Hosts) by leveraging AWS Sumerian; designing and architecting application by leveraging Cloud-Native Architecture; working on emerging technologies, DevOps and CI / CD.

Ilan is certified Alexa Developer and has penned blogs related to Alexa, trained and mentored people in Alexa skill development, conducted Alexa workshop & talks in major conferences and helped developers to build Alexa skill in major Hackathons

Ilan is certified AWS Certified Alexa Skill Builder – Specialty and is one of the very few to get certified in Alexa Beta Exam in first batch.

In a quest to help the community, he embarks on journey to help and grow the community by leveraging technology for social cause. Apart from day-job he spends considerable portion of time in building Alexa community.

Amazon with the objective of ‘Alexa Everywhere’, has spread Alexa to wide section of people. Ilan in his part, helps in building vibrant Alexa community in India. He has deep passion towards voice first technologies and specifically in Alexa. In this regard he has helped many developers and non-developers to acquire skills in Alexa, assist people to build and design skill in Alexa thru multiple talks, workshops and so on.

He has been closely associated with Amazon Alexa User Group Bengaluru and created Amazon Alexa User Group Chennai and Amazon Alexa User Group Chandigarh. In addition he is one of the AWS Community Leader and co-organizer for AWS User Group Chennai.

He has spearheaded community-lead learning and sharing, constantly contributes to the Alexa community: through technical presentations in cloud conferences; workshop for students; conducting Alexa community meetup in multiple cities across India; helped multiple teams to design and build Alexa skills in premier Hackathons and penned blog in India’s premium Digital Media YourStory and so on.
