Inga Gryl is professor für Primary Social and Science Education (Didaktik des Sachunterrichts) at University Duisburg-Essen. She has studied Geography, Social Sciences and Astronomy for Teacher Studies at Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena and Science Communication at Högskolan Dalarna, and has worked a.o. in Landau, Salzburg, Hamburg, Frankfurt and Jena in the field of Primary and Geography Education. She has been guest lecturer in Joensuu, guest professor in Vienna, and professor at Chemnitz University. Her research interests are geography education, digitalization and university education, and education for sustainability.
