Innocent Ephraim is an accomplished financial inclusion and digital finance expert with a robust leadership and innovation background. He served as the M-Commerce Product Lead for M-Pesa for eight years, where he was instrumental in shaping mobile financial services. He then took on the role of Head of Digital Payments and Innovation at the Financial Sector Deepening Tanzania for four years, leading critical initiatives like the country's Real-time Payment Strategy. Additionally, Innocent has been a key driver of Tanzania's Fintech and Innovation Strategy.
He is the founding partner of Inclusive Digital Experts Africa (IDEA) and currently serves as the Board Chairman of Transsnet Financial Tanzania and Sharp Financial Services. As an independent consultant, Innocent continues championing financial inclusion and digital finance across various sectors.
