Applying Internet of Things for developing Supply Chain Resilience: Covid-19 Case Study

This session aims to analyse and discuss the application and impacts of the Internet of Things (IoT) for supply chain resilience mitigating the consequences of a crisis such as Covid-19 pandemic. IoT are increasing visibility and transparency of collaborative logistics systems. The session will be based on developing of a case study related to the behaviour of supply chains during Covid-19. The case study will highlight a more effective disaster / crisis management of supply chains using IoT leading to improved resilience as well as robustness and efficiency. The session will conclude on the issues and further directions for the adoption of IoT and big data analytics services for enhanced resilience of supply chains and logistics systems.
