Itamar Medeiros is a highly experienced design strategist with a career spanning over two decades. Originally from Brazil, he is currently based in Germany, leading design strategy for SAP's Human Capital Management (HCM) product line as VP of Design Strategy.

Itamar is known for crafting exceptional user experiences for global companies across diverse markets and is dedicated to establishing best practices and strategy principles that align with SAP's vision. His expertise extends beyond corporate roles, as he has served as a juror for prestigious design competitions like the IxDA Interaction Awards 2016 and the Brazilian Graphic Design Association Biennial.

Having held leadership positions in various countries, including China, Itamar has also been involved in education, lecturing on user experience and design thinking at esteemed institutions worldwide. He holds an MA in Design Practice from Northumbria University and is a sought-after leader in the design industry.
