Iwan Eising manages Infor's global team of Service Reliability Architects (SRA). Infor is a global leader in Enterprise Software as a Service. Before joining Infor in 2018, he was Chief Architect at Egypt’s premier commercial bank, CTO/Chief Architect at a Dutch Fintech startup, DevOps and Business Agility coach to executives and engineers at organizations ranging in size from 3 to over 30,000 employees.
He has been a speaker at various conferences, seminars, and summits, including MAADCon 2022, 2021, DevOps Summit Amsterdam 2019 and 2018, Infosecurity.nl 2018, ASAS 2017 and CIO Summit Dubai 2011.
On a regular basis he publishes articles on the topic of DevOps, Business Agility, Software Engineering practices, and Management 3.0 on arc-e-tect.blog. For Infor, he writes a weekly internal blog.

In this talk you will learn about how at Infor we determine what to measure and how to act on our measurements. The application of metrics as part of our service implementation allows us to determine how to better service our customers.
Through cases based on everyday practice at Infor, I will illustrate how transforming from Enterprise Software vendor to SaaS provider required us to change our user experience metrics and measurements. I will show how metrics show us to improve our effectiveness and efficiency in our service delivery process.
