Joseph Augustine Asuquo is a software engineer with a background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria. He began his tech journey as a full-stack developer during an internship at Decagon, working with Golang and React. With a natural affinity for logic and systems thinking, Joseph gravitated toward backend development with Go, leveraging his engineering mindset to solve complex problems efficiently.

Over the years, he has contributed to and led impactful engineering projects at organizations such as BFREE Africa, Propchain (UAE), and Partna (formerly Payourse). At Partna, he spearheaded the re-architecture of their systems, enabling the platform to scale and deliver robust B2B financial services.

Joseph is passionate about mentorship and knowledge sharing. He runs a YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@jaasuquo) where he teaches beginner-friendly Golang concepts to aspiring developers. He was also a featured speaker at GopherCon Africa in Nairobi, Kenya.
