In 2013, Shriki joined the VISN 20 VA Health Care System in Eugene, Oregon, as a staff radiologist. His dedication to veterans' health care is particularly noted in his specialized work in lung cancer screening, where he has significantly impacted early detection and treatment.

Shriki has been an influential figure in the academic arena. He has served as an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Washington since 2013. He was an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Southern California from 2006 to 2010, where he mentored many aspiring medical professionals.
