Hi, I’m Jack Tracey, I am 26 and live in West Sussex, England, United Kingdom.
I am currently a Public Cloud Solutions Architect for CDW UK, based in the UK (headquartered in London). I am responsible for assisting customers migrate, build & expand to mainly Azure IaaS & PaaS services as well as assisting with the various networking elements required when moving to the cloud. Formerly I was a networking engineer, focusing on Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, for another MSP in the South East of England. Making my journey into the cloud slightly different to most.
I am also a co-founder of the Sussex Azure User Group where we host monthly meetups to discuss all things Azure in a safe, friendly and chilled environment. Check out our website at https://sussexazure.uk or follow us on Twitter at @SussexAzure.
I also host my own blog at https://jacktracey.co.uk & tweet regularly using the handle @Jack_Ref (yes I used to be a qualified football referee also)

Azure Landing Zones - History, Overview & What's Next!
Azure landing zones (formerly Enterprise Scale) are the output of a multi-subscription Azure environment that accounts for scale, security governance, networking, and identity. Azure landing zones enable application migration, modernization, and innovation at enterprise-scale in Azure.
We will dig into why we created the architecture, an overview of what the architecture is and how to implement it. And finally what's coming soon!
Azure Subscriptions & Governance - Do I Really Have To Architect/Design This Too?
Most business I go into either have just 1 Azure Subscription configured or 100's, never in-between. When asked there is rarely an explanation as to why this is.
Subscription & Governance architecture/design is so important for ensuring your journey to Azure is a secure one as well as keeping those people happy in finance when you can provide simple billing exports at the click of a button.
This session will cover Azure AD and why it is so important to subscriptions within Azure. We will then move into how you decide upon your subscription architecture pattern. Then finally giving an overview of the various governance scopes and features within Azure to further govern your Azure subscriptions; these will include: Management Groups, RBAC, Policy, Blueprints, Tagging, Resource Graph Explorer & Cost Management.
