Jacob Haning is a Machine Learning Software Engineer on the Innovation team at Fuse by Cardinal Health. A subject matter expert in Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning and pure mathematics, he leverages his expertise in critical thinking to iterate, learn, solve problems and develop detailed requirements for new features and products.

As a critical contributor, Jacob supports commercialized products and participates in innovating and creating the technology needed to meet long- and short-term business strategies for customers. In addition, his responsibilities include developing and executing appropriate machine learning scaling strategies, publishing content based on his experience, and consulting with businesses on their machine learning efforts.

Prior to Cardinal Health, Jacob focused on technology product development and machine learning within vertical industries. He co-created software using machine learning algorithms for the College of Wooster in cooperation with Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC) where his work was formally published and presented at the MidWest artificial intelligence conference.

Jacob earned a BA in mathematics and computer science at the College of Wooster and a Masters Degree in electrical and computer engineering with a specialization in machine learning at the University of Cincinnati.
