Jade has established a fulfilling career operating at the intersection of STEM and community development. Her journey commenced with the attainment of a Bachelor's of Science in Neurology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California at Davis. Following this, she ventured into the international arena, first as a member of the Peace Corps in Mozambique, where she taught 12th-grade biology in Portuguese and pioneered a UN-recognized hospital internship program. Subsequently, her path led to active involvement in community development and public health initiatives in Maharashtra, India.

Returning home, Jade undertook domestic public health roles in both Oakland and San Francisco, California. In pursuit of further academic excellence, she earned her Master's in Public Health with a specialization in Biostatistics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. This served as a stepping stone to her subsequent roles in data science and data engineering consulting, where she contributed her expertise to government agencies and non-profit organizations.

Currently, Jade holds the position of Data Engineer at Pivot Bio, a pioneering sustainable biotech company headquartered in Berkeley, California. Despite her deep-rooted attachment to the Bay Area, she presently operates from the picturesque Adirondacks in Northern New York state.
