I am a full stack web developer and well versed in cloud computing having certified in GCP , Azure and Oracle Cloud. My primary language of choice is Typescript and Python. On the frontend Im familiar with both React and Svelte. I enjoy sharing my coding skills with others and helping my community grow. I personally recieved alot of mentortship as I grew as a software developer and I try my best to push it forward by mentoring others in the software development community. How to contribute to open source on GitHub. In this session I dived into topcis such what is open source as the benefits of contributing to open source such as being part of a community and growing your portfolio. I also looked at various ways developers can contribute to open source for example through documentation, financial contributing theough GitHub sponsors and through code as well. The goal of the talk was to encourage both beginners and experienced developers to join the open source community and make the world a better place.
