James Philips is the chief information officer at Rev.io. In this role he is responsible for overall systems architecture, performance, database management, data migration and analytics. He also sets Rev.io’s long-term technology strategy to ensure its system performs optimally to meet evolving client needs. James has over 25 years of experience in IT, leading teams and processes in both large, complex organizations and fast-growing SMB environments. Prior to joining Rev.io in January 2021, James was vice president of corporate technology at Mizuho Securities, where he was the lead solutions architect responsible for the data platform, DevOps, performance and technology stack modernization. In total, James has managed and led teams in database administration and application development at over a dozen companies, while also managing his own independent consulting engagements on several occasions.
