Jared works as an Assistant Director within New Student Orientation at the University of South Carolina. Jared is a proud first-generation student; he obtained his Masters Degree in Counselor Education-Student Affairs from Clemson University and his Bachelors of Science in Applied Sociology from East Carolina University. Jared's work is grounded in understanding various student populations, creating transformative experiences, and allowing students to find their "why" in and out of the classroom. Jared is a member of NODA and serves as co-lead faculty for the Graduate Student Symposium. Prior to the USC, Jared worked at Florida State as an Assistant Director and Virginia Tech as the Assistant Director for Special Populations.
