Jason Berman, BS, EMT-P, is a Senior Professional EMT Driver with STAT MedEvac’s Critical Care Ground Operations. With more than 25 years in EMS, he has worked in ground emergency ALS operations, community paramedicine, emergency vehicle operations and long-distance critical care transport.

Jason serves on the STAT MedEvac Workplace Safety Committee and has contributed to projects involving fatigue risk assessment, crew readiness and safer ground operations. He is also a Pennsylvania Star of Life recipient.

Outside of EMS, Jason is the founder and CEO of Firewhistle Brewing, a firefighter- and paramedic-founded brewery built around community service and public safety. His background combines field experience, operational leadership and entrepreneurship, with a practical focus on improving safety, readiness and decision-making.
