With nearly 20 years of software development experience, primarily focused on Java, I have consistently delivered high-quality solutions as a developer and architect. My technical expertise also includes several years of experience with Python, complementing my deep understanding of Java's intricacies. I am skilled in core development practices such as multithreading, event programming, message queue systems, and relational database modeling, as well as identity and access management (IAM).
I am adept at designing scalable systems, both in development and DevOps contexts, and have hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, proficient in both vertical and horizontal scaling strategies. My career has progressed into DevOps and DevSecOps, where I am skilled in CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure-as-code.
As a former ISO 27001 referent focused on the development domain, I successfully designed and implemented a comprehensive SDLC for my previous company. This SDLC consistently passes ISO 27001 audits due to its automated controls, strategic human validation checkpoints, and non-invasive yet traceability-focused approach, even extending to aspects of deployment. It also empowers developers to handle certain exceptions themselves, promoting efficiency.
I have been immersed in Agile methodologies for over 15 years, with a preference for the flow-based approach of Kanban. Recently, I spearheaded the development of a governance framework and automated pipeline for scanning 1500+ repositories, utilizing tools such as SAST (e.g., SonarQube), SCA (e.g., Nexus IQ), and container security tools (e.g., Prisma Cloud). I also leveraged tools like LinearB for engineering efficiency. Additionally, I developed KPI tracking dashboards using Metabase and a work item engine in Azure DevOps to ensure traceability and automated ticket lifecycle management for addressing issues flagged by these tools.
An alumnus of Epitech, a school renowned for fostering passionate computer scientists, I remain committed to software development while continuously evolving my expertise in DevOps and DevSecOps. Beyond technology, I am fascinated by the vastness of space, the mysteries of the universe, the intricacies of the quantum world, and the paradoxes of quantum mechanics. I also maintain a keen interest in economics, stocks and crypto, AI, and the imaginative realms of science fiction and fantasy literature.
