I'm a Senior Java Enterprise Software Architect and passionated about Open Source. My experience includes banking, insurance, telecommunications and public domain. After seven years contributing Apache TomEE, I became PMC (Project Management Committee) of the projet and got to help in more Apache projects (OpenWebBeans, BatchEE, Johnson, Geronimo). As an active contributor, I have been requested to become an Apache Member.

I was invited to join the JCP (Oracle Java Community Process) and participated in the EJB 3.2 Expert Group and the new Java EE security Specification. Recently started being involved in the Configuration JSR and the microprofile initiative. Since Java EE became Jakarta EE, I have been even more involved in delivering the 2 last major versions of the platform.

I like sharing ideas, getting together with other and learning from anyone. I like participating into conference and Java User Groups just to hear from others, but also to speak myself on different technical subjects.

I love Handball. After more than 10 years as a player, I ventured into refereeing. Some years ago I was appointed to referee at the national level in France.

Specialities: Java, Java EE, Open Source, Application servers, Tomcat, TomEE, SOA, RESTful web services, XML/XSL, Web Services, Security, PKI and Cryptography, OAuth2, JWT, Performances, benchmarks

Frequent speaker at many Java User Groups and international conferences (ConFoo, Apache Con, JavaLand, JavaOne and Devoxx, DevDays, DevNexus, QCon, JNation).
