Jen graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, a minor in Theatre Arts, and Certificate in Journalism. After graduating from college, she spent eight years working as a regional admissions counselor in higher education admissions and enrollment. She worked for Virginia Commonwealth University, a large public domestic research university, before transitioning to The American University of Paris, a small private international liberal arts university. She also spent the last application reading season working at Harvey Mudd College as an application reviewer. Her dedication to building relationships through networking and recruitment efforts resulted in an over 300% increase in enrollment numbers. Jen is now a professional speaker on building relationships through applying concepts of friendship to networking. She shares her expertise she learned from being an admissions counselor.
