Dr. Bittner is an active duty Army spouse with three medically complex children enrolled in the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP). Her husband has been in the Army for 18 years. For almost a year in half, she has been the Executive Director and Lead Researcher for the nonprofit, Exceptional Families of the Military. She is also an adjunct psychology professor for two community colleges. Her expertise lies in research, Autism advocacy, and military healthcare.
