Jennifer Knox is the Woodward Academy’s Director of Character Education and the Ron M. Brill Chair for Ethical Leadership Development, where she oversees the implementation of the SEE Learning Program and supports Academy-wide work with character and leadership development, service learning, and equity and inclusion. She serves as a Professional Learning and Curriculum Consultant for Emory’s SEE Learning Program at the Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion Based Ethics and has also conducted Cognitively-based Compassion Training (CBCT®) and facilitated SEE Learning Educator Prep Workshops with educators at schools around the country and abroad.

Our nervous systems are sending us information, but are we listening?! Participants will cultivate greater understanding of resilience through the lenses of self, relationships and systems by building body literacy and practicing easy to learn skills. The Social, Emotional, and Ethical Learning and Community Resilience Model frameworks will serve as resources for class or whole school integration.
