Using OpenSearch + Langchain for Podcast Transcriptions

We'll explore the innovative integration of OpenSearch and LangChain to search podcast transcriptions. This approach aims to enable interactive queries on podcast content through a chatbot interface, leveraging advanced AI techniques. The foundation of this work is the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pattern, which is essential for extracting precise information from large language models (LLMs). The process begins with applying the Whisper model to generate accurate podcast transcripts. Subsequently, the LangChain component is utilized for effective data segmentation. The segmented data is then stored in OpenSearch, facilitating efficient similarity search capabilities. This comprehensive methodology promises to revolutionize the accessibility and interaction with podcast content.

Dear Podcast, Can You Help Me? Leveraging OpenSearch and LangChain to ask a podcast for advice

Think about it: What if you could ask your favorite podcast questions in a chatbot? We'll make this a reality with a sprinkle of AI and some RAG pattern magic! Start this adventure by demystifying the RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns, which are crucial for extracting accurate information from large language models (LLMs). Continuing on a journey to prepare podcast transcripts using the Whisper model, the next stop uses a LangChain component for data segmentation, a hopover to store data in OpenSearch, and lastly, similarity search.
