Dr. Jeroen Büscher (PhD Physics, KU Leuven, 2010) was active as project manager at the Department of Electrical Engineering at KU Leuven from 2011-2016 with a focus on renewable energy technologies, smart grids and the integration of electric vehicles in low voltage distribution grids. In 2016 he joined VITO within EnergyVille as product manager electrical storage. He is responsible for the development and execution of the roadmap on electrical storage technologies and services. Jeroen is experienced in project management in an international setting and representing VITO/EnergyVille in various battery initiatives. Within EnergyVille he is research line coordinator for battery storage.
