I am a lifelong learner, and throw myself completely into my passion of the moment. After graduating with a Liberal Arts degree (English, Film, and Theatre) from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock, I worked in television, construction admin, managing hotels, got my first masters from the University of West Georgia in College Student Affairs, worked at UWG in study abroad, then at Randstad as a project coordinator while I finished my second masters in Clinical Mental Health. Exhausted and confused? I can provide a longer explanation, but mostly I wanted to make sure that people understand that it is my path and the transitions I’ve experienced in my life that I bring with me into my counseling practice. I dove into sex therapy as soon as the professor in my first class asked us what type of therapist we wanted to be. I am working towards full licensure and sex therapist certification. But I enjoy helping my clients with whatever issue that is present with them when we meet. Typically things are connected anyway, so either way, sex and intimacy is represented.
