Cui Jia Wei is a graduate student studying IP and competition law in National Taiwan University, and serves as research assistant in Academia Sinica for AI and information technology law. Besides his job and academic works, he also participates in g0v, a civic tech community in Taiwan. The project , vTaiwan, which he participates just won the OpenAI grant of Democratic Input to AI with a proposal cooperated with Chatham House. 

How to vTaiwan OpenAI?

In this 15 mins sharing, we are going to tell you how vTaiwan community, cooperating with Chatham House, a prestigious think tank in London, use vTaiwan process to bridge different stakeholders together, forming a consultation meeting, and discussing the issue about AI localization. The sharing will also cover the experience about our journey to OpenAI to share the vTaiwan process with OpenAI teams. The sharing will include the challenge we met, the result we get, and what stakeholders in Taiwan express about AI principles.

Target audience of the session will be those who interested in making AI democratized.
