Jim Ries is Principal Technical Architect for Veterans United Home Loans in Columbia, MO. He leads the Platform Architecture team there, who worry about cross-cutting things like security, build, deployment, scalability, and performance. Jim also teaches Operating Systems at the University of Missouri. He wrote a decent chunk of Procomm Plus during a previous lifetime.
