Jimmy Li is a Software Engineer specialising in AI & Automation.

His career spans the full spectrum of modern software — from early-stage startups in China, to backend engineering at ByteDance (the parent company of TikTok) on multi-tenant SaaS platforms serving B2B customers, to his current focus on AI-native systems in Australia's regulated FinTech space.

Jimmy holds a Master of Information Technology from The University of Western Australia (UWA) and a Bachelor of Science in Information and Computer Science. He has led teams at four hackathons — including a Runner-Up finish at EcoPulse 2025 and the WA Health Hackathon — and actively builds open-source full-stack AI products in his own time.
