Experimenting with Azure IoT Hub and Raspberry Pi

"What is happening in your home when travelling abroad" and "your children" have in common? Both require you to keep an eye on it, specially when you are not around.

In this session, we are going to see the result of some experimentations using a Raspberry Pi connected to Azure IoT Hub, for 2 situations that even if seems completely different, could be handled with the same solution.

Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

At Malta Tech Talks, I presented an introduction to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and demonstrated how to use Terraform.
I explained the fundamental differences between declarative and procedural approaches to infrastructure management and discussed why you might choose one over the other.
