Glitch It Yourself!

When we think of glitches, we tend to think of mistakes; errors in the system; problems that need to be resolved. But what if we wanted to glitch intentionally? What does it mean to break a system purposefully to create something new?

In this session, we'll discuss the concept of Glitch Art - what it is and some of its history - and why destruction can be a vital component of the act of creation. We'll also explore one method of creating glitch art using Audacity, a free open-source audio editing program.
