Joana Sousa holds an MSc in Biomedical Engineering with expertise in the areas of biosignal processing, innovation management and marketing strategy. Currently, she is Innovation Consultant at NOS Innovation, a Portuguese telecommunications company, and an independent expert in the European Community’s H2020 framework, which provides funding for research and innovation. She was Innovation sub-director at Edge Innovation, leading innovative projects and managing innovation in the Health, IT, communications areas, and R&D project coordinator at PLUX–Wireless Biosignals, AS.
