Joe is Indy Autonomous Challenge Technical Advisor, made MQTT open and helped automakers adopt it, and developed a self-driving bus for the elderly and people with disabilities. Former ROS 2 TSC, LF Director IoT, Autoware Foundation TSC, ADLINK Field CTO, and Apex.AI Product VP. Joe helped start SOAFEE open source SDV and cofounded IBM's Automotive Lab in Munich.
