John Lennox Cummings, who goes by Lennox, graduated summa cum laude from the College of Charleston Beatty School of Business with a GPA of 3.95. He was nominated to the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, an award reserved for the top 10% of seniors, and was recognized as a Merit Scholar. He completed his degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Spanish. His fluency in Spanish was valuable during his travels to Spain and Mexico, aiding communication with coworkers.

Alongside his academic achievements, he gained practical experience through various internships and part-time roles. He balanced his rigorous studies with real-world work commitments, demonstrating discipline and strong time management skills. By the age of 22, he had established a solid foundation for his professional future.

Lennox Cummings worked as a Tax/Accounting Intern at a Charleston advisory firm, where he expanded his knowledge of financial planning and became proficient with QuickBooks and Intuit Tax software. He prepared tax returns for 17 C corporations, achieving an average turnaround time of 13 days, and for over 200 families, achieving an average turnaround time of 5 days. His work contributed to a 100% client retention rate and no audits.

Previously, Cummings interned at a finance and client relations firm that shares his last name, although there is no family connection. He supported 137 client relationships and assisted with internal audits and financial reviews for assets exceeding $400 million.
