I'm a chartered information technology professional, and i've been in Information Technology for 38 years, and have held just about every role, from operations, programming, analysis, business development, software engineering and solution architecture. I started work in ITT electronics before moving to Ashton Tate (Dbase!). I then joined Netscape Corporation as the European Applications Manager and then Bid.com as European Project Manager. I then moved into Healthcare with the National Health Service and HealthTrust Europe where I held a variety of roles. I've spoken at conferences on the adoption of cloud technologies, the influence of personal technology on the enterprise, and the socialisation of IT. I joined DBD at the beginning of 2025 as they started their transition into fully cloud enabled technologies.
