Jonathan Cote is a father, husband, educator, part time Spider-Man, and Director of R&D at Becton Dickinson in Franklin Lakes. He is accountable for new product development operations with the Surgery business. Driving the development of project metrics, reporting, and best in class product development practices. In addition to his role in R&D, Jonathan is the Global Co-Lead for the NEXT Associate Resource Group (ARG) and a member of the R&D Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity initiative.

Since 2015, Jonathan has also been an Adjunct Professor at Montclair State University, teaching courses in Business Communication, Data Analytics, and Elements of Business. Jonathan has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Seton Hall University and an MBA from Rutgers University.

Outside of work, Jonathan can be found spending time with his family, traveling, or working on his house. He can easily go down the rabbit hole of anything Disney, loves a good trivia contest, pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain.
