Jonathan Lopez, He/him/his, is the Senior Youth Outreach Cooordinator at the San Joaquin Pride Center. He has been with the non-profit organization for 10 years and enjoys working with community and LGBT+ youth. He has worked with children in dance programs and has made it his life-long mission to inspire, educate, and engage youth in positive spaces and learning. A long-time Stockton resident, he has always put an emphasis on creating safe spaces and enjoyable activities for anyone in the Central Valley. In 2017 he was key in writing the script for Stockton to be awarded as an All American City on a national level. He also has worked as part time professional drag queen, Hellen Heels, and has used the persona to educate people about gender expression, equality and LGBT+ history. Hellen was the first drag queen to perform at the State Capital and will continue to use their act to spread awareness for LGBT+ rights. He is also a fun Capricorn and enjoys a nice meal and conversation.
