Joseph Goksu was among the founding engineers on Tazama, a real-time transaction monitoring platform built to detect fraud and money laundering in emerging markets. The project was funded by the Gates Foundation, is now hosted by the Linux Foundation, and was recognised as a Digital Public Good in 2024. He led the engineering effort that turned the open-source base into a commercial product processing 3,000 transactions per second. He now builds internal platforms at Obrizum serving 100,000+ users including defense sector clients, and runs Reaktif LLC — shipping Osprey (opensource.finance), TaskWing, and Markwise to users in 15+ countries. His open-source work has 900+ GitHub stars across 52 repositories. He leads the Reactive Programming Group (1,000+ members) and Solo Founder Network, and has held AWS Community Builder status for four consecutive years
