Josh Coddington serves as director of communications and public information officer (PIO) for the Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT), the state agency responsible for growing Arizona’s economy through tourism collaboration, promotion and development. He guides the agency’s overall communications strategy, including handling media requests and relations, PR campaigns, marketing efforts, crafting internal and external stakeholder messaging, and collaborating with industry partners. Prior to joining AOT, Josh served as communications director at the state’s economic development agency, the Arizona Commerce Authority, and at the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. Josh also spent a decade as a journalist and editor at the Arizona Capitol Times.
