Hi, my name is Joshua Woods. I'm originally from a small, rural Tennessee community. Growing up in this environment, I witnessed a variety of inequities in health and health outcomes that drove me first to pursue medical anthropology and then public health. Currently, I focus on qualitative research concerned with chronic diseases. I'm a graduating senior from Vanderbilt University and an incoming MPH health policy-track student at the university's School of Medicine.
