Copilot Studio Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Policies( Jan 2025 Monthly Power Collab)
Copilot Studio's DLP policies are designed to safeguard your organization's data by governing how agents connect and interact with various data sources and services. Administrators can configure these policies in the Power Platform admin center to ensure data security and compliance.
Key Features:
Policy Configuration: Administrators can create and manage DLP policies to control data access and usage within Copilot Studio.
Connector Classification: Connectors can be classified into business, non-business, and blocked categories to manage data flow effectively.
Policy Enforcement: Starting February 2025, DLP policy enforcement will be enabled by default for all tenants, ensuring that all published agents comply with the defined policies.
Violation Handling: If an agent violates a DLP policy, users can still interact with the agent, but updates cannot be published until the violation is resolved.
These policies help prevent data exfiltration and ensure that your organization's data is used securely and responsibly.
